When I first opened up the comment which announced that I had won ‘The Versatile Blogger Award’ I reacted with mixed feelings:
- Wow, my blog has not been going long, how could I have possibly won this?
- This is a chain scam, just ignore it.
- I feel so happy and loved!
Regardless, I have decided to post this here (because my blog is about Evangeline Vale and I don’t think she’d accept this personally). A brilliant little blogger nominated me and so a HUGE thank you to her. Check out her funny and up-beat blog about life: Girl. 30. Living this thing called life
After checking out the rules on Versatile Blogger Award it turns out that I need to tell you seven interesting facts about myself. Here goes nothing:
- I hate being the centre of attention, so to overcome this I’ve started my own website www.samanthacartmel.com, my own blog and Tweet like a nutter. Way to go being inconspicuous.
- I love books. I don’t need to read them, I’m happy to just stare, feel or smell them. Smelling is the best part.
- I hated the concept of the Kindle because of interesting fact number two. But now I own one and I can’t leave it alone.
- I see people as animals. There, I’ve admitted it, I’m strange. For example, I once knew a man who had a 70s handlebar moustache, a pot-belly and waddled around yelling at people for no reason. So, he was a walrus.
- My inspiration at the moment is Sarah J Maas, who is the author of my favourite Throne of Glass series.
- I love music, hence the soundtracks on my blog.
- I am not interesting enough to list seven things.
Now, I’m to nominate 15 bloggers, however, I must admit that I don’t read 15 blogs. So I will continue to add to this list until I reach 15! I promise.
